Awaken to the Rays of the Sun

Yesterday was a great day to recharge my energy with the sun rays crawling through my window. My soul and body slurped up every sap of ray, like wanting to quench and enormous thirst. The sun woke me up, and I was drawn to its warmth. I wonder how many  others were awaken to this powerful source? It has been a while since I connected with the rays. It felt so comforting, I closed my eyes and under my eyelids I felt the rays, and I saw light moving towards me. I felt electrified, connected with a familiar sense of oneness. I remember some time back ,I wrote  about the importance of getting enough sunlight in order to maintain a strong immune system and I promised to keep that present, but I have not done so. The reason is the many adult responsibilities and rushy life in a city that doesn't sleep. The sun came to get me, reminding me of my promise. Reminding me of the important of recharging, filling up on energy. Energy I need to share with others. It must have wanted me  to remember that I can't run a race on an empty tank.

I closed my eyes with comfort and meditated, absorbing new energy that I sent towards the ones I love hoping that they received the potent antidote to all. I know they did, and I hope that they can share it with others, but most importantly I hope they realized the importance to recharge their energy on a consistent bases.

Today as  I walked down the street I still felt the warmth of yesterday’s sun  in my eyes, and I looked ahead as I darted energized through the busy street, ready to take on my duties and to welcome all good energy my way, as I breath in and out completely aware of the present.

The latest request i had, was from a relative and friend asking me for ideas on how to eat healthy. I am by all no means an expert in nutrition, but i have experiment for over a decades with ways of eat a a whole food diet, less process, and more on the green-raw side of food. So these are the ideas that came to mind upon having that
request , i hope it can be of use to others too. Hugs.

Eating whole and staying healthy!
There are many tasty healthy and tasty alternatives, i have many recipes in mind and i will pass them on , first i need to retrieve them from memory.

-Try staying away from sugar , in any form, white flour and white rice and white bread, soda, juices, soft drinks, all of them turn into sugar in the body. Sugar is most diseases' best friend. Buy a Bragg vinegar and add a capful to water and drink on empty stomach daily. Try Stevia, for sweetening your tea.
-Drink 4 big cups of room temperature water first thing in the morning. Then Juice green leaves with apples, ginger and lime.
-Quinoa is a healthy protein carb alternative, use it instead of rice. Try to eat green leaves daily, juice it if necessary, invest in a Breville juicer and juice Broccoli, ginger, green apples, and kale.
For Breakfast an example will be : organic eggs, boiled, or poached over a bed of raw spinach sauteed with onions and mushroom\ green tea with little honey or stevia liquid sweetened.
Lunch: A big green salads, with almonds/ walnuts and cranberries, sprinkled with steamed quinoa, marinated with olive oil/ Bragg apple cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar.
Dinner: baked or grilled wild caught salmon with lemon oregano,/and honey mustard/vinegar sauce accompanied with a salad, or steamed veggies.
-snack on fruits, and nuts, and try to by organic as much as you can afford.
Try to do exercise daily, walk , run, pilates, yoga, spin.
-Chew your food well before you swallow, since digestion start in your mouth.

-Stay positive, focus and don't be hard on yourself.
Also, remember that any change in your usual diet, may bring on some headaches, dizziness and other feelings, this is just your body detoxing.

Hugs

Natural Deodorant

So i  have been trying to find ways to incorporate MSM into my skin care routine;  i came up with a recipe for a face refresher:

Ingredients: 6 oz filtered water, 2 tsp MSM, 1 tsp glycerin and 1/2 oz raw cider vinegar, and 6 drops Lavender essential oil. Place all ingredients in a glass bottle with  spray top and shake well.

How to use: Spray on face a few times a day,

but the most interesting accident happened today; while at work it was humid and i started to perspire , so  i sprayed some under my arms and is neutralized all odor after a few minutes. I am so using it as a deodorant, and i hope it keeps being effective.

Happy experimenting!

Carrot Seed Essential oil ! A Super healing oil...

Carrot seed essential oil , is a wonderful gift from nature, which is acquired by steam-distilling
the dried carrot seeds and other parts of the plant itself. It has a strong and pungent smell, but filled with some powerful antioxidants. it is known as a cell regenerator; as it is is filled with vitamin A. It is considered a prime skin healing oil. it is great taken internally , as it benefits a number organs, mainly by detoxifying and enhancing their function. it also supports the nervous system by lowering anxiety. But the purpose of me using it was mainly as a skin healing agent, so i placed 6 drops of essential carrot seed oil in a tablespoon of grape seed oil, mixed up and spread over cleaned face. Immediately after, my skin was very hydrated , but not in a heavy way. It gave my skin a healthy natural glow. I loved the smell, for it was extremely therapeutic and cleansing.

If you are planning on trying this oils, please make sure you are not allergic to these by doing a small patch test on arm; pregnant women should not use essential oils. Also, if you plan on taking it internally, make sure it's of a pure quality from a reliable source.

Pearl Powder! And Its Many Uses!

This is basically grounded pearls which are high in calcium, used in Chinese traditional medicine. It can be used internally and topically. In China it is mainly known for its anti-aging effects and the prolongation of life expectancy. A few of its other uses are: treating visual problems, insomnia, inflammation of the skin, acne, detoxing organs, anxiety, and liver cleansing.

I find it useful for headaches, migrane type headaches, from heat exertion. Internally it has a cooling effect in the body. I consume the pure 100% pearl powder, no fillings; i take about two capsules twice a day.

I also put about 5 capsules in my face cream, since it is also used for maintaining a healthy, and clear complexion. It is said to be the beauty secret of women in China.

If you plan on taking it internally, please make sure it is of a good quality, and pure enough to ingest.
